Welcome to our Frequently Asked Questions. Here you will find most of your answers to questions about booking, prices, payments, confirmations, e-tickets, cancellation and booking changes. If you can’t find an answer to your question, feel free to contact us.

Online booking

Bookings can be made 24 hours a day. Use the search box on our homepage to find the best deals and follow the steps. See our How to book page for more information.

Currently you can only make bookings at least 24 hours before departure. For last minute bookings you contact us by live chat, whatsapp or email.

No! Giliferries.com will never charge any booking fees. You pay for the tickets only. The only additional charge that may incur is for pickup or drop off outside of the free pickup zones. This will be charged by the boat carrier on the day of travel.

In the case there is no seat availability, most likely the boat(s) are fully booked.

All of the prices on our website are in $ USD. Depending on your method of payment the amount will be exchanged to the currency of the payment method.

No, we do not charge any credit, debit or other payment fee, however your bank may charge additional payment fee's for international payments. Please contact your bank to be sure.

Fast boat prices can fluctuate by date, depending on how busy they are at a certain date (high season / low season). The prices can also be effected by exchange rate changes.

Confirmation & E-tickets

Once you have chosen the fast boat you will be asked to provide some personal details. After you have confirmed these details you will be able to choose your method of payment, once you have completed your payment you will receive an automatic email confirmation with all the details of your booking with your e-tickets attached. The boat carrier will also directly receive an email with your booking details, including hotel pickup / drop off details.

No, you don’t need to reconfirm your booking with the boat company, our system will send an automatic confirmation to the boat company after you have completed your online booking. In most cases you will also receive a confirmation from the boat company directly.

Mostly booking confirmations are instantly after you have successfully completed your online booking, however during busy times it can take a few minutes.

Please make sure to check you spam box to be sure. In case you still remember your bookingnumber go to the retrieve booking page to resend your booking confirmation and e-tickets. In any other case please contact us to help you.

Yes, you are allowed to book for any person(s). The booker also don’t need to be present on checkin for departure.
